This lesson plan is a composed mainly of practice problems on functions and equations. Students will work on the problems presented in the second link the day after learning the material in the first link. Math is a very simple subject for understanding results of assessment; more often than not, the instructor can determine how students got to an answer and thus where they went wrong in their procedure. Moreover, asking students to show their work makes this even easier. By collecting and reviewing the students' work, the teacher can determine which areas need work for students and adjust the lesson accordingly.

This lesson was mostly a lab, which I imagine is a student's favorite type of assessment. Students get to fully experience the content and get an intuitive understanding of the material. As with the case of all labs, completion is the main source of assessment, but teachers will be able to see how students are doing during the lab and about how well students understand the lab by remembering what they tested and asking them how the unit responded (in this case, how did number of coils affect electromagnetism)
